This is the first series for the new Happy Movements yoga program. It can be taken to prepare you for the next level or as a standalone series.
In this series you’ll explore long holds in restorative-like positions and basic foundational movements to prepare you for the next level. You’ll practice proper breathing mechanics, get introduced to internal core support and explore techniques to develop conscious awareness vital to unlocking your body’s natural healing potential.
All of the class will be spent on the floor transitioning between different positions. Practice at home is highly encouraged. Weekly handouts will be provided.
Required equipment: 4″ foam block, yoga strap (6′ or 8′), traditional Mexican blanket (standard or tall).
